To include your event in the Brighton Fringe programme, either you or your confirmed venue will need to register your event online by completing and submitting an online event registration through Eventotron. It's not often that venues will register your event for you, so don't assume this is the case. Make sure to check with your venue manager if this is possible but be prepared to register your event yourself.

Remember to:
- Submit change requests if you need to edit event info

When running a ticketed event, you will need to check in and admit your audiences. This may be something that the venue is able to support you with, but it is not guaranteed. Make sure you speak to your venue manager about this.
We have two tools available for this - the Door Tool and the Front of House Tool - both accessible through Eventotron.
Please read our handy guide below on which tool you should use and how to use it.

If you want your venue to be visible to artists and producers for 2027, you will need to add your venue to the Brighton Fringe 2026 festival in Eventotron after registration opens on October 14 2026. If you've set up a venue profile in the past you will still need to add it to the 2027 Brighton Fringe season in Eventotron.
TOP TIPS FOR NEW VENUES
- Eventotron is where venues can add all their information and where artists, event managers and producers can browse through which venues are available for Brighton Fringe.
- You’ll be able to find Brighton Fringe in ‘Seasons’. Look for the ‘apply to festival’ button under ‘apply with venue’.
- Eventotron is also where events can contact you if they’re interested in your venue. Check your event applications or messages to see who's contacted you.
- Make sure events can happen in your venue safely. Consider entrances and exits for artists and audiences and leaving enough time for cleaning between events.
- You’ll need some good images of your venue and a description of the space to get started.
- Work through all the tabs in Eventotron to enter all details. All the info isn’t needed straight away, but there’s some bits we’ll chase up nearer to the festival (e.g. Insurance information and Risk Assessment).
TOP TIPS FOR RETURNING VENUES
- After registration opens, your first step should be adding your venue to the Brighton Fringe 2027 festival. You’ll be able to find Brighton Fringe in ‘Season’s. Look for the ‘apply to festival’ button under ‘apply with venue’.
- Double check your capacity. You can find this in the venue details tab. Whether you're keeping social distancing or getting back to full capacity, you'll need to let us know here.
- If you have more than one space, you can now add it to your venue profile, so make sure you don’t have more than one venue profile.
- Look in your settings to update your digital event settings. You can use this bit to set whether events can live stream from your venue.
- Look through all the tabs! They’re all important. We’ll be chasing you up later for things like insurance info and risk assessment.
- Update all the info that artists are going to need Access info, technical facilities, hire fees, photos and description of your event are key!
- Are you ready for events to see your venue in the Venue Browser? Remember to switch the ‘Appear in Venue Browser’ question to ‘yes’! Go into the venue browser to check how your venue appears to artists.
