Brighton Fringe Festival is an open-access festival. This means anyone can take part if you find a venue to host you and pay a registration fee. Our festival runs from the first Friday in May for 31 days. In 2025, we celebrated our 20th anniversary.
Brighton Fringe is an opportunity for anyone to explore their most experimental, bold and creative ideas. It is a safe space to try new things to welcoming, friendly and excited audiences. There is something for all tastes in Brighton, so nothing is off limits (...within reason!).

To take part in Brighton Fringe you will need to be registered with us in Eventotron. Find out how to do this and see our step-by-step guide on the registration process.
Each year, Brighton Fringe offers a series of bursaries in collaboration with various local and national organisations and Brighton Fringe staff members to help support event managers in bringing their performances to life.
Like bursaries, awards are given in collaboration with various local and national organisations and the prize packages are dependent on the sponsors.

Meeting these deadlines will ensure you are fully prepared for Brighton Fringe and won’t miss out on any opportunities such as a discounted registration fee or winning a bursary.
