The Event Listing section of your Eventotron registration becomes your listing on the Brighton Fringe website. Make it appealing, since this is what will attract your audience.
BEFORE YOU START , ANSWER TWO QUESTIONS
What is your show?
You'll only have a few words to describe your event on our ‘What's On’ page, so have a short, clear description ready.
Who is it for?
Not every show suits everyone, so think about who you're aiming at. Is it for families with young children, or adults only? Will it appeal most to music lovers, history fans, or comedy fans? The Audience Agency's Audience Spectrum tool can help you work this out.
When creating your listing on Eventotron, it may also help to think about:
We at Brighton Fringe are committed to supporting and guiding you all as much as possible, but we offer support each year to over 800 shows. We will always do what we can to boost your experience but it’s important to clarify that the responsibility of promoting your event is down to the expert of your event... you!
Brighton Fringe is committed to supporting and guiding all participants as much as possible to boost their experience, but we only hold the responsibility to market the festival itself, not the individual events.
We have several in-house marketing options that can support events, including A0 or A2 posters in key locations around Brighton, and targeted e-marketing to our databases of keen Fringers. Event Managers are able to book these through our registration platform, Eventotron.
If you’re looking for more advice, we have a wealthy stack of information in The Green Room, our hub for artists and venues and anyone in between. Head there for more in depth information about how to market yourself and your show.
