ALL THE INFORMATION YOU NEED ABOUT TICKET PURCHASING

1. PICK AN EVENT

FESTIVAL PROGRAMME

You can browse the full programme and buy tickets at brightonfringe.org/whats-on. The first release of tickets for the 2024 festival is on sale from 7 December 2023, with the final release on 16 February 2024. Any late coming events will be added on a weekly rolling basis from 1 March 2024.

2. BOOK TICKETS

THROUGH OUR WEBSITE

Visit brightonfringe.org/whats-on to buy tickets 24 hours a day and browse events by genre, date, price, venue or accessibility options.

AT THE BOX OFFICE

You can buy tickets for all Fringe events at the Box Office. The box office is open from 10am till late (at least 9pm) every day during the festival.

ON THE TELEPHONE

The Brighton Fringe Box Office line is closed until 7 December 2023.

BOOKING FEES 

We charge a £1 booking fee per ticket, up to a maximum of £6. This booking fee contributes directly to the charity that administers Brighton Fringe year after year.

TICKETS

All tickets for Brighton Fringe 2024 are e-tickets, which you can print out or show on your phone.

3. TICKET TYPES

  • Fringe Friends 2-for-1 tickets: 2-for-1 offers are available to Friends of Brighton Fringe. The 2-for-1 offer is only available on specific event dates, highlighted in listings. Please ensure you have a valid Friends of Fringe membership before attempting to purchase 2-for-1 tickets. To join, click here.

  • Pay What You Want Tickets (PWYW): Pay What You Want tickets allow you to decide how much you can afford to pay for an event, up to £30, starting from a minimum set by the performer. Pull the slider and name your price. 

  • Free: Some free events may be ticketed. You will need to book a ticket to attend these events. Some free events are non-ticketed. Most free shows ask for donations to be paid at the event.

  • Concessions: General concession prices are available to students, those receiving benefits, the unemployed, senior citizens (over 60), under 16s, students, D/deaf and disabled people and Equity members.

  • Personal Assistant tickets: Personal Assistants and carers are entitled to free tickets when attending an event with someone they care for. Please email [email protected] to get set up as a Personal Assistant.

  • Family tickets: This is a 4 ticket deal purchased together at a special discounted rate. Family Tickets are available to, unless otherwise stated, 2 adults and 2 children, or to 1 adult and 3 children.

  • Group of 4 tickets: Some events are offering a 5% discount to those booking in groups of four to nine people. See individual events for details.

  • Group of 10 tickets: Some events are offering a 10% discount to those booking in groups of ten or more people. See individual events for details.

  • Babes in Arms: All children under the age of two years can attend an event for free, as long as they remain on a guardian’s lap. This policy applies to all shows unless otherwise stated.

4. GETTING HERE

BY COACH

National Express has regular coaches from London Victoria, the main London Airports and other locations nationwide. Coaches arrive at Pool Valley Coach Station in Central Brighton. For timetables and fares, visit nationalexpress.co.uk.

BY CAR

There is excellent public transport throughout Brighton & Hove, but if you choose to drive, car parks are clearly signposted around the city. Bay parking is available throughout the city and can be paid for using parking metres or via PayByPhone. For more information, visit brighton-hove.gov.uk/parking.

BY PLANE

Gatwick Airport has regular 25-minute train services direct to Brighton. Southampton Airport and other major London airports are also within easy reach, so you can get to Brighton Fringe from anywhere in the world!

5. GETTING AROUND

BY BUS: Brighton & Hove has excellent bus services for getting around the city and travelling in from the surrounding areas. You can now tap on and off all Brighton and Hove buses using your contactless card, or download the B&H Buses app to find a wide variety of paperless ticket options. WALKING AND CYCLING: Much of Brighton Fringe happens in the heart of the city and is easily accessible by foot and bicycle. You can hire BTN Bike Share bicycles from various locations across Brighton. For availability, prices and payment options, visit btnbikeshare.com.

BY TAXI: Taxis are available 24 hours a day and taxi ranks can be found throughout the city.

8. VOTE

Vote in the Brighton Fringe Audience Choice Awards! Every event and venue registered at Brighton Fringe is in the running to take home the coveted Audience Choice Award. Each audience member gets only one vote for best event, and one vote for best venue. Final votes cast are taken on the last day of Fringe. Venues and events are weighted according to their maximum capacity, so even the smallest venue and one-off events are still in the running.
