BRIGHTON FRINGE 2023: CHILDREN'S EVENTS AT CARAVANSERAI

Brighton Fringe 2023 is just around the corner. With more than 600 events taking place in more than 100 venues across Brighton and beyond, get ready to experience a month full of fun and excitement. 

The newest addition to Brighton Fringe 2023 is Caravanserai, a pop-up outdoor festival situated north of St Peter’s Church, less than a ten-minute walk from Brighton Station. 

In this immersive world of Caravanserai, tons of events, from comedy to cabaret to music festivals and children’s shows, are taking place every day from May 5 to June 4 2023.

Here is a list of all the children’s shows taking place at Caravanserai during Brighton Fringe 2023, for little ones and entire families to enjoy. 

SHELF: THE KIDS SHOW, MAY 29. £8 (Caravanserai Brighton: Junk Poets)

Don’t miss Shelf as they take over Brighton Fringe with their high-energy comedy kids’ show. 

The duo is well known for performing for kids all over the UK with Comedy Club 4 Kids and Girl Guides, with appearances at Underbelly and Latitude Festivals.

CIRCUS SONAS FAMILY SHOW, MAY 20, 21. £10 (Caravanserai Brighton: Luna Parc)

Coming all the way from Northern Ireland, Martin and Logy are taking the traditional circus double act and giving it a modern twist. 

This is a family-friendly show, suitable for children and adults of all ages and ready to make you gasp between circus stunts and surprising juggling tricks. 

MR SLEEPYBUM, MAY 6 AND JUNE 4. £7 (Caravanserai Brighton: Luna Parc)

Nominated Best Kids Show at Leicester Comedy Festival 2023. 

Seasoned comedian Jody Kamali invites you to join his Mr Sleepybum on a sleep adventure. In this show, he will reenact some of his favourite dreams, full of energy and inventive physical comedy.

SUNSHINE, MAY 31 AND JUNE 1, 2. £8 (Caravanserai Brighton: Junk Poets)

StickyBackTheatre Company is bringing to Brighton Fringe their acclaimed kid's comedy show.

Mr Sea and Mr Sand are polar opposites stuck on the same part of the beach together. Will they be able to share their space despite their differences? 

Don’t miss these whirlpools of laughter, some smelly seaweed and frying pants in this highly interactive show. 

KIDS’ INTERACTIVE UKULELE SHOW: UKEBOXBABY, MAY 29. £8 (Caravanserai Brighton: Luna Parc)

Don’t miss this interactive ukulele show with ukulele lessons, educational games, dances, bubbles, glitter parachutes and cannons and more. 

Telling the famous children’s story ‘The Rainbow Show’ through ukuleles and music. 

A wonderful interactive show for children to join in all the way through.
