Enjoy a warm welcome to Brighton's ancient mother church and hear and see some of the 1000-year history, treasures and characters of this beautiful building. Highlights include the very rare Norman font, the magnificent windows by Kempe, and the Wellington memorial. Also, some of the stories of St Nicks, among them: Why was one particular vicar expelled from the church? The sculptor’s beautiful tribute to his late wife, and how well did one famous writer rate Brighton (clue: not well!).
Comments from 2022: “Fascinating, a place so rich in history” “Knowledgeable and entertaining speaker” “Really interesting, so much detail – wish I could remember it all!”
