Tour of St Nicholas Church

Enjoy a warm welcome to Brighton's ancient mother church and hear and see some of the 1000-year history, treasures and characters of this beautiful building. Highlights include the very rare Norman font, the magnificent windows by Kempe, and the Wellington memorial. Also, some of the stories of St Nicks, among them: why one particular vicar was expelled from the church; the sculptor’s beautiful tribute to his late wife; and 'the three fears' of the fishermen of the old town who worshipped at the church over the centuries.
