Mira Abualzulof (piano) and Lamar Elias (violin) bring together classical Eastern and Western musical worlds. They play their own compositions, creating exquisite new Palestinian music.

Mira and Lamar studied as children at the Edward Said National Conservatory in Bethlehem. Driven by their passion for music, the friends were re-united in France and, in 2018, started the MiraLamar Duo, previously known as CharqGharb.

Inspired by traditional storytelling, Mira and Lamar will bring new work
honouring Palestinian cities in their performance of مودة Moudon - Tunes of Memories.

The concert is fundraising for PalMusic UK. The charity’s focus is to fund teaching at the Edward Said National Conservatory of Music, giving the opportunity to learn music to young people who would not be able to do so without financial support.
