Maria Morevna became an Eco Warrior when the Moth told her that the destruction of rivers, trees and wild land affected even the smallest creatures and would change her world. Captured by the Wizard Korchei, to stop her destroying his plans, she is relying on her new friend Alexis to help her escape.

How can they outwit the great Wizard and bamboozle the dreaded witch Baba-Yaga, and will the Hawk, Eagle and the Crow be able to help? The story is told by a storyteller, so the listener becomes part of the creative process as they make the pictures of the story. The storyteller does not read the story. The storyteller has not learnt a script. The storyteller is the author, performer, producer and director, improvising the story differently for every performance. Based on a traditional tale there is magic and mystery and adventure in this story as well as laughter and fun. A family story for primary age children.
