Funny Business is a queer celebration of clowny nonsense, a love letter to the absurd and only the most silly of sausages. It is a cabaret by clowns for clowns, celebrating clowns of all genres and variations - with a particular focus on showcasing marginalised performers within the queer/trans community. No clown is too clown to come clown in clown town.
Organised by two London based clowns operating in the drag scene, Sean the Cheap, and Cabbage the Clown, we bring you the finest clownery in the UK for a campy evening of comedy - expect laughter, surprises, and maybe a few tears? But probably not.
Although not compulsory, clown-core costume is encouraged and there will be prizes awarded for the best dressed!
Doors: 7pm, Show: 8pm
This event is the winner of Brighton Fringe Staff Bursary - Sarah's Cabaret & Variety Bursary.
