Work-in-progress stand-up comedy show from Elaine Fellows. Elaine's life is held together by two things: sugar and lies. Neither of which are good for you. The show explores the lies we tell ourselves and others and the consequences (and rewards!) these lies have.
Recent tour support for Colin Hoult, Elaine Fellows is one of the brightest new comedians on the circuit. In the last year she has smashed her way through several major competitions; she’s been a finalist in the Komedia, 2Northdown and South Coast Comedian of the Year awards - as well as achieving runner up in Hastings Comedy Festival Newcomer of the Year. Elaine is also a successful voice-over artist, and you may recognise her northern twang from several ad campaigns and audiobooks. (None of this is a lie. I appreciate none of you will believe this now).
"Appealingly natural. Original yet relatable material" (Chortle) "Delightfully low energy, holds the audience well" (The Reviews Hub) "Absolutely fantastic. A star in the making" (Brighton Grin) “Likeable, funny and endearing.” (Three Weeks, Edinburgh)
