Fringe Academy aims to create an opportunity for individuals looking to expand their knowledge of the arts, but most importantly break down barriers that prevent those from low-income backgrounds or underrepresented groups from accessing the arts, by providing skills-based training, advice and support.

A networking opportunity to meet other Brighton Fringe artists and venues who are also taking part for the first time in 2024. Whether you're new to the Fringe circuit completely, or have just never performed in Brighton, this is your chance to make a network of people before your arrival in the city.

Time for you, coffee, cake and chat...
Whether you are starting out as a performer, entertainer or artist or you are more seasoned and established, ensuring you take time out to look after your financial affairs and plans is perhaps something you struggle to do.
With this in mind, supporters of the Brighton Fringe and entertainment specialist accountants, tax and financial advisors, Mark Carr & Co are delighted to provide free sessions for those engaged in the Fringe.
The sessions aptly titled ‘Time for you’ are being hosted at the firm’s office located in central Brighton and just a stone’s throw from many of the Fringe venues. Over coffee and cake (other refreshments will be available!) Mark Carr and his colleagues will spend time with you reviewing your situation whilst providing updates and useful insights into topical tax and financial planning.

Join the team from World Fringe and National Rural Touring Forum to find out what's next for you post-Fringe.
Whether you're wanting to meet other Fringe organisers, or learn about the possibility of rural touring, the teams from World Fringe and NRFT will be here to tell you a bit more about what they do and how you can get involved.
The session will involve a short presentation about each organisation, and any other Fringe organisers introducing themselves too, followed by open networking.

Join Chichester Festival Theatre as part of our Life After Fringe series, highlighting development opportunities post-Fringe.
Alongside their main programme of events in the theatre space at Chichester Festival Theatre, they also have some wonderful Fringe-like spaces such as the Minerva Theatre which hosts their CFT Lates programme.

Brighton Fringe has been undergoing a period of reflection, examining where it wants to position itself and who it wants to be in the arts eco-system of Brighton and beyond. As an open-access platform, we rely on all our stakeholders to help ensure we remain not only relevant but industry-leading in our nature and mission.
This session is your opportunity to both share your thoughts, and hear about our plans for the future with key members of Brighton Fringe staff and board, it will be an open discussion platform where you can suggest the topics.

Book yourself a session with Jackie Elliman from Independent Theatre Council. If you’re thinking about developing your show or setting up your own company after the Fringe, but don’t know where to begin, sign up to talk to Jackie Elliman, Legal Advisor from the Independent Theatre Council. Jackie will answer your questions about the many legal and business matters arts organisations need to be aware of as they develop and progress.
Sessions will be 15 minutes long and hosted at The Ledward Centre. We recommend you come along with a clear idea of what you need to know.
This form is an expression of interest and sessions will be allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis. You will be contacted by Artist Services with a specific time slot.
