Brighton Fringe is England’s largest open-access arts festival, and the third largest in the world. It is also a registered charity. Our vision is to be a nationally and internationally acclaimed festival and year-round professional resource that stimulates, educates and develops audiences and artistic communities. Our mission is to bring audiences and artists together and act as a catalyst for creativity.
Each year we work with thousands of participants at all stages of their career, yet only 3% of our income comes from public subsidy.
Higher rate taxpayers
If you pay tax at the higher or additional rate, you can claim the difference between the rate you pay and basic rate on your donation. Do this either:
For example: You donate £100 to charity - they claim Gift Aid to make your donation £125. You pay 40% tax so you can personally claim back £25.00 (£125 x 20%).
Please donate what you can to help us support artists and ensure the future of Brighton Fringe for years to come.
