Booking Fee

We charge a £1.50 booking fee, up to a maximum of £6. This charge supports the charity to operate year-round and ensure the continued administration of Brighton Fringe.

Ticket Allocation

You are required to sell a minimum of 30% of your tickets (per performance) through the Brighton Fringe Box Office. The Brighton Fringe website is the first port of call for people wanting to buy tickets and a central source of information on all Brighton Fringe events – so it’s in your interest to sell tickets through this domain.

If you are a new venue and don’t already have a system for selling your own tickets, we recommend that you allocate 100% of the tickets to our Box Office.

THE FOUR STAGES OF ‘ON SALE’

Stage 1 – From Thursday 11th December 2025 at midday, tickets for Early Bird events will go on sale to Friends of Brighton Fringe only. These are people who have purchased a Friends Membership through Brighton Fringe.

Stage 2 – From Friday 12th December 2025 at midday, tickets for Early Bird events will go on sale to the General Public via. our website and over the phone.

Stage 3 - From Wednesday 18th March 2026 at midday, tickets for all events registered before the spring deadline (11th March 2026) will go on sale to the General Public via our website and over the phone.

Stage 4 - For all registrations after 5pm on the 11th March 2026 and our final registration deadline on 24th April 2026, events will go on sale on a weekly basis. This usually works that if an event has finalised by midday on the Wednesday, events will be live on the Friday of that week, with events registered after midday on a Wednesday going on-sale the following Friday.

TICKET TYPES

  • Fringe Friends 2-for-1 tickets: 2-for-1 offers are available to Friends of Brighton Fringe. Friends of Fringe are twice as likely to see an event than the general public, so offering this benefit is a good way to get more bums on seats.
  • Pay What You Want tickets: Pay What You Want (PWYW) tickets allow you to decide how much you want to pay for an event, up to £30. Artists can set a minimum required payment and a recommended price for this in their registration.
  • Concessions: General concession prices are available to students, senior citizens (over 60), under 16s, students, D/deaf and disabled people and Equity members.
  • Personal Assistant tickets: Brighton Fringe will will issue one complimentary ticket to the assistants of customers with both physical and invisible disabilities, who would not otherwise be able to attend. To opt out of this policy in your registration, you will need to detail any negative financial implications that offering this ticket will have on your event. Many venues require this as standard, and the policy is in line with current legal requirements regarding disabled customers.
  • Family tickets: This is a 4-ticket deal purchased together at a special discounted rate. Family Tickets are available to, unless otherwise stated, 2 adults and 2 children, or to 1 adult and 3 children. You can specify the pricing for this in your registration.
  • Free: Free events will be ticketed or unticketed. Audiences will need to book a ticket to attend ticketed free events, whereas unticketed events will just display a listing with the event details, and audiences can turn up at the specified time. You may also choose the 'donations' option for ticketed free events to indicate to audiences you will collect donations at the performance.
  • Babes in Arms: On an event listing, it will display the events' Babes in Arms policy. This will specify if all children under the age of 2 years can attend an event for free, as long as they remain on a guardian's lap, if a concession ticket will need to be purchased or if children under 2 are not allowed at the event. Please select the relevant option in your registration.
  • Artist Discount: When registering an event, registrants are asked if they would like to offer a last-minute ticket discount to other artists of Brighton Fringe 2026. These tickets are available for artists to book up to 30 minutes before the performance.
  • Group Discounts: You may choose to offer a 5% discount for group bookings of 4 or more, or a 10% discount for group bookings of 10 or more.
  • Alternate Tickets: Artists have the option to set up alternate ticket options to suit their events. The purpose of these tickets will need to be outlined in the submitted ticket description.
