Healthcare workers face high stress and burnout, yet little attention is given to the families who support them. This project explores the experiences of family members through creative, participatory workshops using comic‑making and poetry writing. The sessions introduce these methods & offers a space to reflect on the emotional and practical demands placed on families, including those from marginalised or under‑represented backgrounds.
This is a facilitated participatory workshop for family members of healthcare workers, who live with them and support them, where the participants will be drawing on their experiences to make poetry and/ or comics. All materials are provided.
You may choose whether or not to consent to your artwork being used in future research publications (ethical approval pending at the time of writing, information sheet and consent sheet will be provided on the day); you are welcome to join the workshop even if you prefer not to share your creations for research.
