I'm sorry to disappoint you all: Two friends tangled together. Cocooned in their high rise flat and swallowed by the vastness of the city, an unravelling begins.
Dynamic contemporary dance unfolds against swirling projected landscapes, set to an eclectic, layered sound score by composer Phoebe Coco.
Drawing on the duo’s shared mental health struggles and frustrations with the current climate for artists, I’m sorry to disappoint you all is a touching exploration of isolation, futility and the search for deeper connection.
In This Room: An inquisitive, intergenerational group of local artists, makers and creators have teamed up with Charis and Mette of The 12th Floor to experiment, create and connect. What you see is the result of 3 workshops full of play, hard work and dedication. The 12th Floor thanks this wonderful group for taking a leap of faith with them.
The 12th Floor are proud recipients of the South East Dance Fringe Roots Award.
