Two friends tangled together. Cocooned in their high rise flat and swallowed by the vastness of the city, an unravelling begins.
Dynamic contemporary dance unfolds against swirling projected landscapes, set to an eclectic, layered sound score by composer Phoebe Coco.
Drawing on the duo’s shared mental health struggles and frustrations with the current climate for artists, I’m sorry to disappoint you all is a touching exploration of isolation, futility and the search for deeper connection. To close the performance, you are gently invited to step beneath the projections and into the soundscape to explore the work more closely for yourself.
The 12th Floor are proud recipients of the South East Dance Fringe Roots Award.
