#Hysterical - Brighton Fringe
#Hysterical
Following a ★★★★ sell out run of WIP "#Hysteria: A History of Human Sexuality with Callaghans Questions" - writer/performer Callaghan returns for their debut hour #Hysterical - a satirical, educational comedy show exploring the historical views and problems surrounding sexuality and gender.

A one person powerhouse of character driven comedy, #Hysterical opens as “The Governess” prepares the audience to be “good little wives”. Their future husband, “The Duke”, a rapscallion, then takes the audience through the history of male sexuality. All culminating in burlesque strip, #Hysterical combines Callaghan’s specialties of scripted comedy, burlesque and educational insight.

Developed with the support of Soho Theatre Labs, #Hysteria sold out at Brighton, Camden & Lambeth Fringes and sold at 80% capacity during previews for its limited 2025 Edinburgh run.
