Are you a Fringe Performer, experienced or otherwise, who feels they could have a greater knowledge of tech?

Join us at Komedia, in partnership with Brighton Fringe where two technicians with more than 30 years' combined experience in venues from 10 to 5000 capacity will walk you through every technical aspect of putting on a Fringe show.

Discussion will include:
• Basic stage sound: PAs, mixing desks, mics
• Show lighting: different types of lighting, lighting desks, terminology, techniques available at different scales
• Cues, scripts, playback devices, hiring equipment, assessing what's worth having, and operating technicians
• Tech advancing: Knowing what to ask for, knowing how to answer questions, make sense of what's available, and fill out an advance form

This workshop will be geared toward Fringe performers and crew. Attendees will receive a link upon reserving their place to register questions ahead of time.
