Fri 8th May: Water From An Ancient Well: A Tribute to Abdullah Ibrahim
The unique, laid back, funky style of this South African composer and pianist makes his music unique and joyous. The band guides you through Dollar Brand’s musical life from Capetown roots to the anthem of struggle against apartheid. Authentic reinterpretations of his most famous pieces and new tributes to his musical style.

Fri 22nd May: Joss Peach’s Sidewinders
BAFTA winning pianist leads his new 6 piece ensemble featuring a 3 horn front line of Josephine Davies, Robbie Robson and Matt Seddon- each highly acclaimed players in their own right.
This carefully curated set of lovingly arranged latin, swing, calypso, boogaloo and groove classics will take you on a diverse musical journey and leave you with a big jazzy smile on your face!
