We’re searching for a talented local artist to design our 2023 creative campaign: #JourneyIntoFringe! Your work could be featured across our digital and physical marketing for Brighton Fringe 2023.
Shortlisted portfolios will be commissioned to work up an idea around the 2023 theme and paid £100 for their time. The commissioned artist will then be paid £1000 for the Brighton Fringe 2023 creative campaign.

Journey into Fringe with England’s largest arts festival, and discover a month-long adventure of theatre, comedy, cabaret, circus, music, dance, tours, exhibitions, and events.
Brighton Fringe invites you to traverse the city and beyond, exploring its most weird and wonderful venues, from candlelit churches to art galleries in living rooms and big top circus tents. Brighton Fringe is a place to discover up-and-coming artists, experience new genres and come upon some of the most exciting live performances in the world.
Immerse yourself in Fringe and soak up the atmosphere, there’s an adventure for everyone.
Journey into Fringe | May 5 – June 4 2023
Main Graphic: including Brighton Fringe logo and tagline, festival dates, social media links, website, box office telephone number and sponsor logos. This can also include different textures and backgrounds.
Vector files: Vector files of individual elements/assets used in final design including characters, motifs, patterns.
Colour sheet: Adding some year-specific colours that work alongside our current colour palettes.
Logo: Brighton Fringe logo with 2023 design flourish and colouring.
Category Icons: 11 icons, one for each event category in the programme; Cabaret & Variety, Children & Young People, Circus, Dance & Physical Theatre, Comedy, Events & Films, Exhibitions, Literature & Spoken Word, Music & Nightlife, Theatre, Tours, Workshops.
Animation/Video: Logo stings to be used in videos, and three GIF/video animations to be used to support our key messaging.
