The Regency Town House's 'Basement Annexe' is at number 10 Brunswick Square, three doors away from Town House itself at number 13.
The Basement Annexe is beneath a grade 1 listed terraced home, built in the 1820s and situated in the heart of Brunswick Town, Hove. Today, it is being developed by staff and volunteers as a part of our heritage centre, exhibition and community space.
The venue is typically hired for art exhibitions, installations, videography, photography and drama events. It is not available for parties, weddings, birthdays or similar celebrations.
The maximum number of visitors to a single event is limited to around 30.
The Basement Annexe is available for hire. Details, together with a rate card, floor plans, images and accessibility guidelines can all be found on our website: www.rth.org.uk
Note: The Regency Town House is on the east side of Brunswick Square, about halfway between the top of the square and the seafront.
Parking in the area is extremely limited.
Typical of buildings of this period, it has many stairs. For accessibility issues, see: www.rth.org.uk/accessibility-guide
Georgian town houses were not built with accessibility in mind, our Accessibility Guide is to help visitors to decide if they can access the various parts of our building.
