Undercooked is a Work in Progress stand-up split bill featuring Sara Lessmann and Stephanie Bradshaw. Lessmann, a 2025 West End New Act of the Year Finalist, brings a whimsical, endearing style of comedy rooted in storytelling . Her set explores life as a queer late bloomer raised in the USA, in a buttoned-up religious home. Bradshaw, a finalist in the 2023 OnlyFans Creative Comedy fund, debuted her 45-minute show Big Fish at the 2024 Edinburgh Fringe, reflecting on growing up in a sleepy Cumbrian town with an outsized desire for stardom. Toby Hadoke (XS Malarkey) praises her “warm, likeable” presence and “lovely timing". Notts Comedy Review noted the show’s feel-good charm. In Undercooked, Lessmann and Bradshaw dig into the deeper meaning of being small-town people-pleasers.
