GET BETTER - Brighton Fringe
GET BETTER
GET BETTER is an hour long, four-hander scripted theatre piece centring themes of disability, gender, and truth.

The play follows Hazel, a woman in her 20’s working in a café, grappling with chronic fatigue and trying to maintain her dreams of opening a café of her own with her best friend.

The world experiences a shift, and female identifying people inexplicably loose the ability to lie.

In the wake of this change, Hazel decides to channel this new-found ability into pursing a diagnosis for the chronic illness she is experiencing but doesn’t yet understand.

If she’s telling the truth, she has to be believed — right?
