Fasted takes us on a journey from a residential training in ballet in a London Park to an austere fasting centre in Soviet Russia, overseen by the charismatic yet flawed Leonid Yustaskof, where our protagonist, Valeriya Orexyakov, searches desperately searches for the clue to her torment.
