Vlad Miller and Notes From Underground will be performing their new album 'Kurakin's Diary' with storyteller and writer Will Browning. Based on true and real events, the music and story describe the life of Fatima who was born in the Republic of Adygea, in the Caucuses, who spent her early life in Krasnordar in Southern Russia. In the early 1920s, she and her family are forced to leave and escape the Russian revolution and the civil war that follows. Thus her journey through immigration begins and during this impending turmoil meets and marries a Russian aristocrat, Constantine Kurakin. Her life is spent crossing and living in three continents culminating in her final settling stage when she eventually reaches San Francisco in the USA.

All the music is influenced by jazz, Eastern European folk and contemporary classical, composed by Vladimir Miller and arranged by the band. Storytelling is written by Will Browning.
