The Black Smock Band are South London's Premier Gay Eco-Socialist Folk band (probably) and have been inciting the good people of this land for ten years with their heady blend of reworked traditional songs and new music to bring things bang up to date.
Brighton local, Sam Cutting, draws from influences such as I Am Kloot, Villagers and Jonathan Richman. Sometimes brittle quiet, sometimes simmering anger, sung with a wry smile. His most recent album was Four in the Morning (2017).
And we'll finish by getting you all up and singing along!
