Not monologues, as someone else is being addressed. These four women deliver their dramatic dialogues. Ruth is packing for her holiday while talking to her unseen child. Naomi with her paperback book which she has read so many times, answers her telephone. Miriam is talking to her psychiatrist. Deborah discusses her life with another housewife.
Playwright Arnold Wesker wrote this piece for one actress, but Femme Fatale Theatre decided to expand to different women for each part, so it becomes an ensemble piece for all to enjoy.
