A new show that reimagines John Milton’s seventeenth-century epic account of the fall of man as a swinging, spectacular Elvis-In-Hawaii musical from the turn of the 1960s.
Taking its cues from William Blake’s assessment that Milton was ‘of the Devil’s party without knowing it’ - the show tells the story of Danny Morningstar, rebellious rock and roller, who finds himself at Hawaii’s Club Eden resort where Adam - the wealthy heir to Eden’s proprietor - is summering with his blushing fiancée, Eve. Can she resist the power of Rock’n’Roll and the call of temptation in the tropical climes of protestant America’s balmiest retreat?
