Christopher Drake and his team of Practitioners will explain the discoveries of the eminent Russian medical scientist Prof. K.P. Buteyko. Drawn to the principle that the way we breathe is linked to levels of health, he discovered that the Diseases of Civilisation have their origin in chronic hyperventilation syndrome. To reverse these diseases, Prof. K.P. Buteyko developed a systematic approach to normalise breathing according to physiological norms. This category of disease, now known as chronic diseases, covers 200+ conditions such as asthma, allergies, anxiety, ADHD, blocked nose, breathlessness, chronic fatigue, cough, depression, diabetes, emphysema, heart disease, high and low blood pressure, migraine, muscle and joint pain, poor concentration, sleep disturbances, stress, tight chest, weight problems. The connection between breath, health and mind requires a quantum leap of understanding. Questions are welcome.
