On joining the board:
"Brighton Fringe is an essential part of the city’s cultural calendar and creative ecology, delivering a vast programme of activity that helps to support and propel hundreds of artists and producers each year without the full recognition it deserves. Amidst the devastation of the global pandemic creativity continues to transform lives and help people make sense of the world and each other. Fresh new shoots of hope are emerging and I’m really excited to be part of Brighton Fringe and involved in the big ‘reset’ - taking on the challenges ahead to reposition Brighton Fringe to its rightful role as a valued key cultural provider that has access to opportunity for everyone at its core."

How do you hope to impact Brighton Fringe going forward?
“I hope to impact Brighton Fringe by providing solid leadership in organisational development and inclusive practice. The Fringe has a truly dynamic and dedicated team who are keen to increase access for everyone - creating opportunities for new and more diverse participants and audiences to be involved in the festival. I hope to facilitate highly nuanced initiatives to enable more people to produce and see work that reflects their own sensibilities and life experiences."
