Ali Braithwaite

Board Member

Ali moved to Brighton after university to work for KPMG where she qualified as an accountant. She has brought up her family in this vibrant city where she has indulged her passion for the arts and for Brighton Fringe in particular. Ali has been an enthusiastic patron of both the Fringe and Festival and she has also sat on the judging panel for the Pebble Trust/Brighton Fringe International touring bursary for the last 4 years.

On joining the board:
“It’s an honour and a privilege to join the Board of trustees of an organisation that is the beating heart of the arts scene in Brighton. The arrival of COVID-19 has presented new challenges for everyone in the community, especially in the creative industries sector, and I believe it is vital that we treasure and revitalise Brighton Fringe which is an essential part of what makes Brighton so special.”

How do you hope to impact Brighton Fringe going forward?
“As someone who looks forward with great excitement each year to the Brighton Fringe, I want to be part of the driving force behind making sure the Fringe comes back with a bang and is more inclusive, more accessible and more wonderful than ever."
