Dirty Old Women is an autobiographically based one-act play with elements of Cabaret and Sitcom. Two women in their early seventies decide to try their luck on a sex-positive dating site. Their aim is not to find life partners, but rather to enjoy some entertainment with perhaps a smattering of erotic in their “golden years”.

Jenny Simanowitz (“Wild Granny Jenny”) and Kathy Tanner (English Lovers) are friends and accomplices. The piece grew out of their real-life experiences.

“When you*re old, you’ve got nothing more to lose” says Jenny. Kathy agrees. The openness with which they approach their encounters leads to stories which are hilarious, crazy...and sometimes deeply moving.
