Become a Fringe Photographer

There is nothing quite like Brighton Fringe. Not only does it fill the city with immense creativity and diversity, but it’s a celebration of individuality that is captured each year by our talented accredited photographers and videographers. There are over 1000 events being performed throughout the festival period, providing a lot of photo opportunities and amazing moments to capture. Brighton transforms in the lead up to the summer and, with a jam-packed schedule full of Fringe shows, you are bound to experience all that it has to offer.

One of our talented Brighton-based photographers, Chloe Hashemi, has previously taken some amazing shots of the Fringe. She says:

"Having had the opportunity to photograph the Fringe for two years in a row has allowed me to document Brighton in all its glory. May is when Brighton is at its peak, brimmed with performers, musicians, and full-on madness- in the best of ways. It's a pleasure to be part of all the action in my own way."

Not only that, but all of our photographers have full creative freedom to express their photography style and interpret what Brighton Fringe represents to them and the community. If you are interested in becoming an official Brighton Fringe accredited photographer this year, then head over to our website to apply. All you need to include is your contact information and a link to your online portfolio.

It is important to note that all photographs that are taken at the event are distributed for promotional purposes across networks, venues and performers who participated in the festival. These images may appear on our website and social media platforms in addition to advertisements and reports. However, all photographers are accredited and therefore hold the copyright to all the content they produce and extend a license to Brighton Fringe. In order to comply with the Data Protection Act 1998, we have a number of signs at each event stating there will be photography. If you do not wish for your photograph to be taken, please speak directly to the photographer or contacts us on [javascript protected email address]
