New for 2023, Brighton Fringe is introducing Fringe City Busking. In place of the previous Fringe City programme which has opertated on New Road, this initiative will see Brighton Fringe reaching more participants across the wider city. With locations not just in central places, but throughout Hove, Moulsecoomb and Whitehawk, Fringe City Busking will take this years festival further into the fringes of the city.
Want to showcase your musical or theatrical talent, have a new song you’re keen to try out, or looking for an opportunity to practise and attract audiences for your upcoming Brighton Fringe 2023 event? Then take part in our open-access community initiative, Fringe City Busking!
There will be eight Fringe City Busking spots, alongside a pop-up stage at the new for 2023 venue Caravanserai. These spots will be self-run and unprogrammed, meaning any Brighton Fringe participant can take part where they want, when they want. For more details on how this will work, and some rules in place to keep it as fair as possible, please see the T&Cs below.
