Brighton Fringe is England’s largest arts festival, in 2023 it will run from 5 May - 4 June. It is an open-access festival meaning that anyone can pay our registration fee, find a venue, and put on an event as part of Brighton Fringe.
Brighton Fringe established itself as a limited company and registered charity in October 2006, with its own board of directors and complete financial independence from Brighton Festival.
We receive no regular public funding; we rely on grants and private donations to continue hosting the festival every year. You can donate to Brighton Fringe here.
Brighton Fringe consists of hundreds of events, taking place in venues across Brighton, Hove, and the wider Sussex area. You can see a full list of venues here.
Brighton Fringe will not be producing a printed brochure in 2023. All events will be listed on the What's On page. The newsletter remains the best way to keep up with all the latest news about the festival (sign up here).
No decision has yet been made on the location of the physical box office for 2023.
