Tall Tales For All Men is a captivating spoken word theatre show by performance poet Tony Curry.
Through a mix of poignant storytelling and poetry —at times accompanied by his acoustic guitar—Tony brings to life the joys and struggles of growing up in 1970s Crawley, Sussex. The youngest of four brothers, born to an English father and South African mother, he shares tales filled with warmth, humour, and love. Yet, beneath the laughter, there’s deep reflection, as Tony opens up about the premature loss of both his father and brother.
Beyond being a poet, musician, and writer, Tony also works to support men’s well-being—an ethos woven into the heart of this show. Raw, heartfelt, and deeply human, Tall Tales For All Men is more than a performance—it’s a space for connection and healing.
