This Can’t Be It is an experimental comedy show about trying—and failing—to make sense of it all. Loz Dodd believes he’s creating something monumental. He might be wrong, but that won’t stop him from throwing himself headfirst into chaos, weaving together song, dance, spoken word, and a meandering stand-up routine about having hands. It’s messy, foolish, and wildly imperfect—but Loz does it all with wide-eyed conviction, convinced there’s something worth discovering in the absurdity.
Expect surreal detours, anarchic energy, and moments of strange beauty as Loz stumbles through his own confusion while trying to make sense of yours. The show “oozes originality and innovation... like watching a quiet existential crisis unfold” (Dan Jones) and is a “surreal act blurring the lines between performance art and comedy” (Betwixt Cabaret).
Will it all come together? Or will it fall apart spectacularly? Loz doesn’t know—but he’s sure it matters. Probably
