Jonny Woo (London drag legend and co-owner gay pub The Glory) returns to Brighton Fringe following hit appearances with Night at The Musicals (with Le Gateau Chocolat) and Transformer (his Lou Reed tribute show) to bring a piano songbook of glorious summery sing-along hits, accompanied by super talented pianist and singer Rudi Douglas, and amazing rock songstress Fi McCluskey.
Having worked together for over eight years, the three have an effortless synergy as they move between hits by the divas such as Whitney, Chaka, Cher and Britney to powerful rock classics by The Rolling Stones and David Bowie.
Each shine in solo moments with Jonny bringing inimitable irreverence and theatrics; Fi McCluskey stuns with a voice that rides between a rock belt to angelic whisper; Rudi always manages to stop the show with his multi-octave range that exudes colour, passion and beauty. Together they enjoy tight harmonies and an infectious sense of togetherness that inspires audiences to sing out and sing-along. Jonny Woo holds the show together with his usual improvised banter with the audience that makes all of their shows feel unique and special.
This Summer Songbook is one of joy and inclusivity bought to you by three of London’s top cabaret and music talents.
