Isabel Maria's quietly passionate and painfully articulate words have entranced thousands across the globe. The Sunderland based singer-songwriter pens witty indie folk-pop ballads which capture the winding themes of mental health, human relationships, and social injustices. At just 17, Isabel is praised by press for her notoriously 'open and mature song writing'.

Isabel Maria received the Young Northern Writers award in 2023 and was named as the Alan Hull Award winner for 2024. Her debut EP The Melodramatic Milers Club was described as 'hypnotic and expansive' this message was consolidated by a sell out release show in Sunderland. Influenced by Olivia Rodrigo, Joni Mitchell and Phoebe Bridgers. Isabel is developing a close fanbase of Sad music lovers.
