Hip Crip Hooray Cabaret
This is not your typical cabaret. Yes, it’s camp, and of course there’s confetti, but the crucial difference? We’re also furious.

Award-winning queer, working-class and disabled artist Tommy (The Queer Historian) has gathered some of the UK’s most talented disabled performers for an evening of celebration, rebellion and pride. Hip Crip Hooray Cabaret is part cabaret, part manifesto and part riot.

This electrifying showcase is filled with fantastic performers, and together we’ll shine a light on the vast array of talent across the disabled community. True to The Queer Historian's work, we’ll challenge societal norms with a bold mix of poetry, naff magic and the campest cabaret acts you could find.

Join us in celebration and anger, for an evening of glamorous fury.

“It’s incredibly important that voices and stories such as Tommy’s are heard” - A Young Theatre
“We have every right - every need - to be as angry as Tommy is” - The Reviews Hub
