Buzzbox Collective presents 2 contemporary theatre double bills.
Double Bill 1 (June 1 & 3).
BETWEEN THE DEAD FISH AND ME: What lies between us and the dead fish? Lies, greed and a bunch of plastic. A heart-wrenching story brought to life with physical movement and soundscapes.
PERFECTLY DIFFERENT: Katie loves her husband but is struggling with certain things he does. Therapy may be the way forward but when she expresses her concerns, she starts hearing voices - voices of people who are like her husband.
Double Bill 2 (June 2 & 4).
WE ARE NOT KINGS: When did you become so shut off from the world that bore you? How did you think this was going to end? We Are Not Kings explores a singular voice in a world where noise is everywhere and revisits our origins in order to listen.
EXPENDABLE: We know that gender is not a choice because no one, in their right mind, would choose to use men’s public toilets. Expendable explores the reality of being a transgender man in the UK - the good, the bad, and the scary.
