Profile raising and experiential opportunities with Brighton Fringe

Engage with customers via Brighton Fringe

Every May, Britain’s favourite seaside city plays host to a panoply of cultural events from theatre to visual art, from dance to comedy, from music to family shows. Brighton Fringe is England's largest arts festival and one of the largest in the world. What makes it exceptional is that it is set in and inspired by a city with a unique heritage of culture and innovation.

Brighton Fringe is a registered charity and governed by an expert Board of Trustees and Julian Caddy, Managing Director (former Director and Producer of Sweet Venues) who joined Brighton Fringe in November 2011.

In 2013, for the first time ever the completely open-access festival will run for an extra week, incorporating the May half-term and both bank holidays (4 May – 2 June 2013) and it is expected to attract an even larger audience.

2012: A record year

Audience numbers for Brighton Fringe 2012 increased by 14.5% to a massive 206,000, and look set to increase yet further in the future.
Read the Brighton Fringe Media Pack for more information on our audiences and marketing opportunities available.
With Citroën as the headline sponsor for the second consecutive year, Brighton Fringe 2012 was the biggest and best yet: the programme had a stunning line-up encompassing 743 events, housed in 192 venues across the city, an array of site-specific work and over 170 free events.
2012 was, according to many stakeholders, “the best Brighton Fringe yet”. The quality and range of Brighton Fringe events increased along with greater press coverage, media reviews and awards attracting audiences to ticketed and free events across Brighton & Hove. Visit Brighton estimate in the region of one million visitors are attracted into the city in May - the most-visited month of Britain's favourite seaside destination.
